We’re all mad here

In Chapter six Alice finds her self asking the Cheshire-cat for directions. The Cat points the way to two places but tells her no matter which way she goes there both mad.“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.”Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” “How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.”You must be,” said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here.” Was Alice really mad? Is it true that everyone in wonderland is mad including herself? Alice was very confused.  Maybe she is mad. Or is she just in a mad world? Alice didn’t know but I think she felt as though she was mad in a way, because if she wasn’t mad would she be in wonderland at all?
